And then we have the morning rush-out-the-door drama, homework drama, extracurricular activities drama and if you have kids in upper grades, get prepared for dating and relationship drama. The high school dating scene can be tough. Navigating teen romance is not for the faint at heart and it is very important that we give our teens the tools that make dating and relationships healthy experiences.
Christ, Our Banner

In a time of war, a banner or flag has traditionally been used to rally troops forward into battle. Furthermore, it’s a means of showing whose side we’re on. The Olympics open and close with the wonderful parade of teams carrying their flags from the various countries represented. What pride it causes within the spectators as they see their “banner” coming by. When churches send their youth (or adults) to participate in a convention and a banner from their home congregation leads the group in, one can’t help but get caught up in the emotion of it.
