Sometimes Love Can Be Hard

Teenage romantic relationships are, in a sense, a training ground for adult relationships, providing an opportunity for learning to manage strong emotions, to negotiate conflict, to communicate needs and to respond to other’s needs. Falling in love can be tricky, dealing with all the emotions involved. Nevertheless, through their romantic relationships, adolescents have the potential for a lot of growth as they learn about themselves and other people, gain experience in how to manage their feelings and develop the skills needed for healthy relationships.
Recently, I asked a young lady to share her thoughts on teen romance and relationships. Here is what she shared:
The Fall of Man

The most tragic and devastating moment in human history is recorded for us in Genesis 3 of the Bible. That one moment, known simply as “The Fall” marred humanity as well as every other created thing. The effects of The Fall continue to devastate our lives today. But that terrible moment was proceeded by the very best of times for humanity. Before The Fall, there were two people, a man named Adam and his wife Eve, who enjoyed something no one else has ever enjoyed since, a world without sin and an unhindered fellowship and communion with the Creator.
Carolyn J. Wilkins, age 78 of Rainsville, passed away on August 31, 2023.
Russell Stuart Walker, age 59 of Opelika, formerly of Bridgeport, passed away on September 4, 2023.
Dallas Glenn Tilley of Sylvania, passed away on August 24, 2023.
