Betty Jean Walls, 87 of Grant, born on Sunday, December 30, 1934 to John and Hannah Ayers, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. A private, family service was held at Grant Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 29, 2022.

Prior to her illness, Betty was active with the Grant Senior Center and enjoyed events with the residents of Golden Age Apartments.

She is survived by her brother, Orval (Maisel) Ayers; daughters, Sandra (Eddie) Henderson, Hannah (David) Cleveland; grandchildren, Matthew (Becky) Campbell, Christie Campbell, Kyle (fiance, Lauren) Munroe, Dylan (Adrianna) Munroe, Leah (Brad) Isom, Lela Cleveland, Ava Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Chase Grimes, Nathan Jackson, Michael Campbell, John Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman; two sisters; six brothers.
