Mr. Donald Frank Thomas, 73 of Scottsboro, born on Thursday, November 17, 1949 to Frank and Mary Thomas, passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at his home. Funeral services were held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Haigwood Baptist Church with Bro. David Wilborn and Bro. Thomas Cornelius officiating. Burial followed at Haigwood Cemetery.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Elaine Thomas; daughters, Sherry (Chris) Miller and Terri (Anthony) Monroe; grandchildren, Taylor (Kristen) Miller, Bentley (Cody) Miller, and Adalynn Monroe; great-grandson, Ryder Shankles; brother, Rodney Thomas; nephew, Keith (Connie) Evans; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Thomas; sisters Lois Cutbirth, Lynn Thomas and Faye Kennedy.
