Nancy Smith Brizendine Strawn, 71 of Scottsboro and formerly of Bridgeport, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Rudder Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Guinn and Bro. Jo Moore officiating. Burial followed in Rocky Springs Cemetery. Nancy was a member of Pathway Baptist Church and was retired from the Lozier Corporation after many years.

She is survived by her husband, James Strawn; son, Stoney (Georgina) Brizendine; daughter, Hope (Hayden) Martin; bonus children, Kenneth (Billie) Strawn, Shelia (Chris) Manning; grandchildren, Trey (Chelsea) Brizendine, Peyton Brizendine, Kayla(Johnathon) Wilborn, Brandon (Nicole) Strawn, Chelsea Strawn, Christopher Manning; several great-grandchildren; brother, Bruce Smith; sisters, Lucille McDonald, Mary (Tim) Derhammer, Susie Smith, Connie (Don) Rounsavall; a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Brizendine; parents, Leonard and Alma Smith; sisters, Peggy Waldon, Virginia Brown; brother, Jacky Smith; niece, Wendy Thompson.
