Mr. Sampson “Sam” Dewey Lee, 62 of Grant, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at his home. Graveside services were held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Free Home Cemetery.

Sam was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Hobart, Sr. and Margie Lee. He was a lifelong diehard Florida Gators fan and enjoyed working as a heavy equipment operator for several years. He also served as a volunteer with the Hebron Fire Department.

He is survived by his daughter, Sabrina Garrett; stepdaughter, Donna Long; stepson, David Cunningham; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Becky Phillips; brother, Richard Lee; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Lee; son, Robbie Cunningham; siblings, Agnes Bruce, Hobart Lee, Jr., Everett Lee; parents.
