Ms. Gladys Haymon Galloway, 88 of Rainsville, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022 at her residence. Funeral services were held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garry Haymon and Rev. Keely Hasty officiating. Burial followed in Kirk Memorial Gardens.

Gladys was the epitome of a hard worker and was gifted with a creative mind. She used these traits through her hobby of sewing. She was also an exceptional gardener and enjoyed gardening with her husband and preparing meals for her family and baking for friends. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family and church.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Ray Galloway; son, Steve (Pam) Galloway; brothers, Gary Haymon, Jim Haymon; sisters, Rheanetta Heard, Patsy Harris; several nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Heath (Danielle) Galloway, Deanna (Larry) Sims, Maleia (Matthew) Bell; great-grandchildren, Allie Galloway, Molly Bell, Mia Bell.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jerald Galloway; parents, Buck and Allie Haymon; brothers, Danny Haymon, Don Haymon, Ted Haymon; sisters, Helen Fossett, Carolyn Croft.
