Mrs. Barbara Lewis Abernathy, 73 of Section passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Hospice Family Care Inpatient Facility. Funeral services were held on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Elliott, Bro. George Hughes and Bro. Mike Adams officiating. Burial followed in Old Sardis Cemetery.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Bobby Joe Stephens, Kenneth Ray Stephens; daughter, Brenda (Ken) Hicks; brothers, Robert Lewis, Jr., Cecil Lewis; Alectia Sharp, Betty Elliott, Carolyn McPeters; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Bessie Lewis; son, Daniel Baugh; brothers, Floyd Lewis, Loyd Lewis; sisters, Carmen Dukes, Shirley Dell Lewis, Ruby Nell Lewis.
