Mrs. Syble Ann Dunn, 79 of Swearengin, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Grant Memorial Chapel with Bro. Nicky Willmon officiating. Burial followed in New Prospect Cemetery.

Mrs. Dunn was a longtime resident of the Swearengin community. She was born in Guntersville on Tuesday, August 10, 1943 and later lived in Claysville until she moved to Swearengin.

She is survived by her daughter, Sonia (David) Pevenage; son, Orval Jr. (Karen) Dunn; grandchildren, Brian (Anita) Dunn, Holly (Jason) Nerche, Jake Smith; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Dunn, Riley Nerche; sisters, Betty Baker, Carolyn Scheidegger; brother, Johnny Vandiver; many nieces, nephews and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orval Dunn; parents, Russell and Hester Vandiver; sisters, Stella, Ida Lee, Mable; brothers, Bill, Charles, Earl and Danny.
