Annual Veterans Day Program announced

VFW post 6073 and American Legion post 30 are hosting the Scottsboro/Jackson County Veterans Day Program Friday, November 11th at Collins Elementary school auditorium at 102 Legion St. Scottsboro, AL 35768. The Scottsboro High School band will begin performing at 10:45 AM with the program beginning at 11:00 AM.  Brigadier General Brad Nicholson, Commanding General of the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command, will be our guest speaker.  Please join us as we honor those that have served our nation and sacrificed to protect our freedom.

The schedule of events is as follows:
– 9:00 Wreath Laying at Veterans Memorial Park Reception to Follow at Veterans Hall
– 10:45 Scottsboro High School Band Performs at Collins Auditorium
– 11:00 Program Begins at Collins Auditorium
