Mr. Paul J. Fowler, 76 of Hollytree passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Lynn Simmons officiating. Burial followed at Clay Cemetery.
He was a meat market manager and a retired timber cutter/logger. He loved being outdoors gardening and mowing grass. He enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and friends, talking and hanging out with everyone. He especially liked to hid oatmeal creme pies from his grandchildren. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior on January 13, 2020.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Eva Carolyn Fowler; daughters, Denice (Shawn) Williams, Freida Hinshaw; grandchildren, Courtney Williams, Camra Hinshaw, Cadence Hinshaw, Connor Hinshaw; sisters, Maverine Autry, Betty Jo (Bob) Cooper, Ida Mae Jones, Kathleen Newsome; brother, Johnny (Paulette) Fowler; many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Wesley Fowler; grandson, Timothy Chad Swafford.
