Bennie Larry McBee, 62 of Chattanooge, passed away at his home in Chattanooga on Sunday, September 4, 2022. Funeral services were held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Rudder Funeral Home with Bryan Winton officiating. Interment followed in Cumberland Cemetery.

Mr. McBee attended Kirkman High in Chattanooga and retired from Chattanooga Times after 33 years of employment. His passions in life were Florida Gator football, NASCAR, poker, gambling trips with family and hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his son, Jonathan McBee; father, Benny McBee; grandchildren, Wesley McBee, Hammy McBee, Rhett McBee, Mark McBee; brothers, Randy (Deborah) McBee, Garry (Jill) McBee; sister, Diane (Marshall) Wallace; several nieces and nephews; Larry’s lil’ buddy, Kayden.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha McBee.
