Mr. Connard L. Wood, 82 of Scottsboro, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Rudder Funeral Home with Bro. Joey Guess officiating.

Mr. Wood was born in Cullman County and was retired from Mead Paper Mill in Stevenson where he was Powerhouse Operator. He was an avid fisherman and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Onvie Wood; daughter, Nena (Patrick) Stills; sons, Kenneth (Tracy) Wood, Charles Wood, Rickey Wood; brothers, Buford, Larry, Jerry, Joe Wood; sister, Leanese Smith; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Franklin and Lillian Wood; son, Michael Wood; great-grandson, Justin Wood.
