Mr. Robert Earl Lockhart, 73 of Scottsboro, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022. Graveside services were held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Rob ran restaurants in Scottsboro for years. Many people remember him for owning and operating County Park Restaurant and the Scottsboro Country Club Snack Bar. His other passion was working as an AHSAA umpire and assigner for Jackson and DeKalb County schools.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Bush-Lockhart; daughters, Kelsey Lockhart, Kim Noll, Janell Woodard; sons, Taylor (Kaelin) Lockhart, Robby (Natalie) Lockhart; grandchildren, Caden Lockhart, Lailah Lockhart, Ridge Lockhart, Rhyder Matthews; sisters, Donna (Larry) Walker, Patricia (George) Parker, Linda (Toby Fox) Tibbets, Edith Knowles, Cheryl Stimpson; half-sister, Betty Vanidestine; brothers, Wallace (Beth) Lockhart, Jr., Keith (Denise) Lockhart, John Lockhart; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Irene Lockhart; half-brothers, Donald Lockhart, Ralph Lockhart; half-sister, Jerry Lockhart.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
