This year, the 49th Annual Art Sunday will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at King Caldwell Park from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. in Scottsboro. They are now taking are and food vendor applications. Check out their website, scottsboro3artsclub.com for more details.
You can expect to have a good time with all the Arts and Crafts vendors. There will also be many food vendors, entertainment and children’s activities.
There will also be a photography contest, and entrants can take a photo of a person, place or thing. They may drop off the 8s10 photo, entry form and entry fee to the Scottsboro or Jackson County Board of Education, or it may be dropped off at Art Sunday, and those who do will get in FREE. Photos will need to be dropped off at the welcome table beside the cabin from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Proceeds from Art Sunday make it possible for the club to sponsor many community projects and educational endeavors. Projects funded by the proceeds of Art Sunday include:
• violin lessons for 3rd graders
• field trips to plays, ballets and symphonies, college scholarship for a graduating senior
• donations to the choral, art and drama departments
• The IMPACT Learning Center, Scottsboro Public Library.
