Mr. Rayford Junior Wooten, 78 of Rainsville, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022 at his residence. Funeral services were held on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ricky Wooten and Bro. Tim Byrum officiating. Burial followed in Town Creek Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 59 and a half years, Arlene Wooten; daughters, Susan (Darrel) Shankles, Denita (Jeff) Wood, Melonie (Joey) Bailey; brother, McCoy Wooten; sister, Ruth Peek; special son, Lee (Christy) Clines; grandchildren, Dereck Bailey, Danielle Berry, Will Bailey, Corey Shankles, Catherine Clines, Caleb Clines.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Nomie Wooten; sisters, Essie Fergurson, Margaret Pullen, Ophelia Peek, Faye Casey, Marie Smith; brothers, Erskin Wooten, Hubert Wooten; grandson, Christopher Berry; great-granddaughters, Christine Marie, Elizabeth Berry.
