David Allan Smith, 62, passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Kimball Church of Christ.

David attended Bridgeport High School and Auburn University. He taught at and loved North Jackson High for 28 years and became a Certified Sports Field Manager. He was also a member of Kimball Church of Christ and preached the gospel in the valley for churches of Christ for 30 years.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Susan Smith; mother, Betty Smith; sister, Becky (Ted) McCoy; brother, Randy (Kathy) Smith; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, David Smith.
