Mr. Alan Brian Parker of Grant, finished his race on this earth on Friday, July 29, 2022. Funeral services were held on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Grant Memorial Chapel with burial following in Free Home Cemetery.

Alan was loved by many. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Parker; babies, Miley, Jake, Humpy, Waylon; sister, Jana Sims; brothers, Gregory Parker, Brent Parker; special sister-in-law, Leighan Dalton; special brother-in-law, Ken Dalton; nieces, Gracie Dalton, Brittany Cooley; nephews, Parker Byrd, Brady Parker, Alex Parker; best friend since high school, Lance Meeks; special neighbor, Sue Nichols; special friends from cancer treatment group, Paul, Ms. Doris, Ms. Vienna.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Joyce Parker; parents-in-law, Bobby and Linda Dalton.

The family will accept flowers, or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Alan’s memory. The family would like to recognize and extend a special thank you to Heartlite Hospice of Jackson County; Shepherd’s Cove Hospice of Marshall County; special friend, Lois Troup; Dr. Schreeder and his nurse, Mrs. Mia; all the nurses at CCI.
