Mr. Garry Sims, 67 of Woodville, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Funeral services were held on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with burial following at Union Cemetery.

Garry’s favorite hobby was playing golf with his son and his buddies, and he also enjoyed watching his grandchildren play their may sports.

He is survived by his daughter, Misty (Jason) Escamilla; son, Dewayne Sims; loving companion for 14 1/2 years, Teresa White; grandchildren, Jake Escamilla, John Escamilla, Gary Escamilla, McKenna Baugh; great-grandchildren, Addison Brady, Molly Brady; brother, Jerry Sims; niece, Cassie (Brandon) Baugh; nephew, Jason Sims; great-niece, Mattie Sims; many more loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruby Sims; brothers, Randy Sims, Donald Sims.
