Mrs. Martha Alice Teague Owen, 90 of Fort Payne, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022. Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Rainsville Community Church with Rev. Thomas Frost, Rev. Antony Patterson and Rev. Cates Noles officiating. The family held a private burial.

Mr. and Mrs. Owen were married on Lookout Mountain on July 25, 1947. They were blessed with three children. She was faithful to their vows before and after his passing in 1980. She faithfully attended Rainsville Community Church where she played piano, sang and worshipped.

She is survived by her son, Randy (Kelly) Owen; daughters, Reba Patterson, Rachel (Rickey) Carroll; brother, Henry (Emma) Teague, Jr.; sister, Betty (Bill) Young; grandchildren, Antony(Natalie) Paterson, Gaybrielle Pitchford, Alison (Kari) Owen, Heath Owen, Randa (John) Starnes, Mary (John) Smith, Mindy (Dusty) Allen; great-grandchildren, Kelsie Patterson, Briar (Madison) Patterson, Gladstone (Alyssa) Patterson, Maggie Patterson, Asher Owen, Kelson Owen, Hudson Owen, Stella Owen, Harper Starnes, John Starnes, Jay Smith, Mattie Smith, Josie Smith, Andy Allen, Avalee Allen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gladstone Owen; parents, Henry and Cloe Teague; sisters, Louise Duff, Leora Tucker; brothers, Charles Teague, Glenn Teague; grandson, Vance Patterson.
