James Alvin Edmonson, born on Monday, November 10, 1947 to the late George and Margaret Edmonson, departed this life on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at home with family. Graveside services were held on Friday, March 18, 2022 at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his faithful son, Stacey (Bonita Talley) Edmondson; grandchildren, Makenzie Edmondson, Matthew Edmondson, Ethan Edmondson, Isaiah Edmondson, Raygan Edmondson, Tanner Edmondson; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Elizabeth Edmonson, Eula Edmonson; brothers, Carlos Edmonson, John Edmonson; sister-in-law, Lucille Edmonson; brother-in-law, Elmo Stewart; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Red Edmonson, Claude Edmonson; sisters, Sheila Edmonson, Cora Edmonson, Sara Simpson; cousin, Eric Edmonson.
