Mrs. Wanda Dunn Allen, 69 of Grant, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at her home. Funeral services were held on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Grant Memorial Chapel with burial following in Free Home Cemetery.
Wanda was born in Dutton to Orie and Ruby Dunn on Wednesday, May 28, 1952. She was a stay-at-home mom and grandma and was devoted to her children and family. Her world revolved around her grandchildren who called her Nanny. Her love of thrift shopping was passed down from her mother, Ruby, and they spent many days shopping and laughing. She also had a floral talent for making arrangements, always ensuring her parent’s, friend’s and family’s graves were beautifully kept with the help of her son.
Wanda and her husband, Glenn were married for 52 years and raised four children, Brad Allen, James Allen, Kenneth Allen, Teresa Click; 11 grandchildren, Alan-Michael Sutton, Lance Ledbetter, Tyler Ledbetter, Kabram Allen, Gabe Allen, Mekenlea Allen, Dylan Allen, Justin Allen, Sarah Dossett, Daniel Sutton, Cynthia Click, Coby Click; great-grandchildren, Hudson Allen, Luke Allen, Aubrey Dossett; brother, Leon Dunn; sisters, Betty Jo Hart, Judy Kirkland. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Dunn.
