Mrs. Annie Ruth Cothron was born on Tuesday, May 8, 1945 to the late Alfred and Sarah Evans. Services were held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro with Rev. Isaiah Robinson officiating. Interment followed at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
She confessed her life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Greater St. Paul A.M.E. Church.
She leaves to cherish her memories; sons, Otis (Sophia) Moore, Isaac Moore; grandchildren, Desiree Moore, Jeffery (Cassie) Moore, Coy Moore, Dion (Katrina) Moore, Deonta (Stephanie) Moore; great-grandchildren, Ja’Marion Russell, JaKobi Kilgro, Abrianna, Jeffery and Makera Moore, Scarlett Moore; sister, Dorothy (Ada) Cullins; sisters-in-law, Clodessa Evans, Rosie Tucker, Katie Toney, Faye Cothron; brothers-in-law, Otis Cothron, Rayford (Geraldine) Cothron, Tommy (Ilene) Cothron; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Cothron; sister, Beulah Joseph; brothers, Earl Evans, Hebert Evans.
