Mrs. Carmen Maria Rivera Newton, 80, entered into her eternal home on Friday, January 14, 2022. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Grant memorial Chapel with interment following in New Prospect Cemetery.
Mrs. Newton was a member of Oak Grove Holiness Church for many years.
She is survived by her sons, Danny (Sherry) Newton, Scott Newton; daughter, Susan Smith; grandchildren, Daniel Newton, Morgan Newton, Adam Newton, Brian Smith, Tiffany Newton; brother, Nelson Rivera. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Newton; parents, Sergio and Isabella Rivera.
