Charlotte Wehrle German, 81 of Woodville and formerly of Carteret, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 as a result of serious injuries caused from a motor vehicle accident. A rosary prayer service was held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Scottsboro Funeral Home. She was laid to rest beside her loving husband on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at St. Gertrude Cemetery.
Charlotte was employed at Jackson County Hospital prior to her retirement as a RN working in labor and delivery the majority of her career. She was also a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sister, Suzanne Czarnota; children, Charlotte (David) German, Fred German, Iv, Timothy (Maha) German; grandchildren, Amy Ridgeway, Thaddeus and Ethan Payton, Denise German, Jane German; a number of deeply loved great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred German, Jr.; parents, Harriet and John Wehrle; brother, Bobby Wehrle.
