Our angel, Annie Pearline Adkins, 85 of Skyline passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 18, 2020 with family at her side. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with burial following at Shelton Cemetery. She will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, gentle eyes, caring heart, loving embrace and unconditional love. She had a heart of pure gold and never had an unkind word to say about anyone. To know her was to love her. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate her life and find comfort that she is in heaven watching over us. She is survived by her son, Benny (Janet) Adkins; son, Steve (Kathy) Adkins; daughter, Susan (Johnny) Adkins; son-in-law, Ricky Saint; sisters, Vera Winninger, Mary Brooks; nine grandchildren, Lane (Megan) Saint, Katie (Caleb) Manning, Kellie (Jamie) Kelsey, David (Kelly) Adkins, Daniel (Amber) Adkins, Samantha (Parker) Henegar, Ben (Mandy) Adkins, Brian (Julie) Adkins, Samuel (Tereza) Adkins; 27 great-grandchildren; church family at Central Baptist Church of Skyline. Loved ones that await her in heaven are her husband of 59 years, Andrew Adkins; son, Jimmy Adkins; daughter, Mary Jo Saint; parents, Claude and Evie Mitchell; brother, James Mitchell.
