Mr. Charles Henry “Nut” Harris, 66 of Scottsboro passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Cloverdale Nursing Home in Scottsboro. Funeral services were held on Friday, January 10, 2020 at the Chapel of Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro with Rev. Gary Speers officiating. Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Charles was a retired teacher and coach at the Jeff Davis Middle School in Hazlehurst, Georgia and a member of the Greater St. Paul AME Church in Scottsboro. He also worked at the Scottsboro RecCom for many years after moving back to Scottsboro. He is survived by his sisters, Stella Harris, Pamellia (Andrea) Williamson; brother, Wendell Eugene (Phyllis) Harris; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
