Mrs. Judy Gray Lawhorn, 65 of Pisgah left this world for her heavenly home on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at her residence with her family by her side. Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at New Hermon Baptist Church with Pastor Shannon Paschal and Bro. Darrell Hart officiating. Burial followed in Friendship Cemetery.
Judy was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was a lifelong member of New Hermon Baptist Church, where she developed an unmovable faith in God and her savior, Jesus Christ. She was the foundation of her family, with strong ties to those in her community.
She is survived by her son, Rodger (Becky) Lawhorn; daughter, Heather (John) Fuller; fur baby, Ginger; brother, Cecil Gray; sister, Joyce (James Kelley) Heard; brother-in-law, Richard (Peggy) Lawhorn; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth (Lee) Jones, Karen Lawhorn, Barbara Lawhorn; grandchildren, Tyse (Traci) Lawhorn, Isaiah (Brianna) Lawhorn, Sadie Lawhorn; great-grandchildren, Gracelynn, Xavier; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lawhorn; parents, Roy and Louise Gray; brother, Wayne Gray, Charles Gray; brothers-in-law, Phillip Lawhorn, Wayne Lawhorn; sisters-in-law, Peggy Lawhorn, Shirley Lawhorn.
