Myra Gould

Myra E. Gould, 86 of Juno Lake, Edwardsburg, Mich. passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the home of her daughter. Private family services were held and burial was held in Adamsville Cemetery. Myra enjoyed a celebration of life in June for her 86th birthday.
Myra was born on Wednesday, June 12, 1935 in Scottsboro to the late Thurman and Leona Ritchie. She married her true love, Robert Gould on August 6, 1955. He passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 1998. Myra retired from Taylor products after 25 years of service. She was a lifelong member of the Episcopal Church, House of Happiness in Scottsboro and St. John’s in Elkhart. She loved living at the lake, gardening and cooking her special southern food, such as, breaded squash, fried chicken and the fish that Bob and Billy caught from the lake. She was an accomplished musician, playing piano, accordion, organ and harpsichord. She always had a special place in her heart for Billy.
She was an amazing mother, wife and grandmother, who was truly loved and will be dearly missed.
Myra is survived by her children, Yolanda who went above and beyond to ensure Myra could remain in her own home as long as possible, Sherry (Bill) Kline-Klotz who lovingly cared for her over a year; eight loving grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Joanne (Roger) Wheeler. In addition to her parents and husband, Bob, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sonia Gould; brother, Thurman Ritchie.
