Mr. Alan Smothers, 60 of Rainsville passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Funeral services were held on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Old Sardis Holiness Church with Bro. Oron Whitley and Bro. Shirley Byrum officiating. Burial followed in Town Creek Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Smothers; son, Auston (Juana) Smothers; daughter, Ashley (Joseph) Freeman; father, David (Lema) Smothers; brother, Tracy Smothers; sister, Keren (Mike) Gortney; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by his mother, Mable Smothers; grandparents, Lelar and Milo Cushen, Cecil and Lily Smothers.
