James E. Pooney Loyd, II, 79 of Bryant passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021 at his home after a brief illness. A graveside military honors burial was held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Oak Lawn Memorial Park.
He was born in Pourtsmouth, Virginia and attended Pisgah High. For the majority of his adult life, he was employed at I.E. Dupont in Chattanooga.
He is survived by his brother, Mike Loyd; several nieces and nephews.
