Mrs. Lora E. Ashmore, 97 of Scottsboro passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. Funeral services were held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with David Hill officiating. Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
She attended Bible Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Verlin (Lindy) Ashmore; sisters, Lizzy Hollis, Mary Chance; grandchildren, Gayle, Glenn, Wendy, Regina, Robby, Karen, Dwight; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paskel Ashmore; daughters, Lucille Johnson, Wanda Moore; parents, Burt and Amanda Hall; several brothers and sisters.
