George Clayton Barron, III, 85 of Pleasant Groves went to be with his heavenly father on Sunday, September 5, 2021. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 in the chapel of Scottsboro Funeral Home with burial following in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
He was married for 62 years to the late Peggie Carter Barron.
Mr. Barron is survived by his son, Douglas (Pam) Barron, Robert (Pat) Barron, David (Paula) Barron; daughter, Peggie Barron; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Sneed, Betty Hyatt, Mary Evett. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Barron; parents, George and Margie Barron.
