Mrs. Ola Ruth Atchley, 83 of Stevenson passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Graveside services were held on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens with Bro. Ronnie Day and Bro. Dale Haynes officiating.
She was retired from Shaw Industries and was a member of Roaches Cove Baptist Church for over 45 years, where she taught children over many decades as a Sunday School teacher.
She is survived by her son, Raymond (Alice) Atchley; grandchildren, Lauren (Justin) Lackey, Nicholas (Lauren) Atchley, Nicole (Shawn) Curtis; great-grandchildren, Hudson Curtis, Isaac Lackey, Emma Lackey, Olivia Atchley; brothers, Billy (Sadie) Miller, Otis Miller; sister, Ethel Rich; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Atchley with whom she shared 67 years of marriage; sisters, Opal Curtis, Judy Ott.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roaches Cove Baptist Church, 1000 County Road 55, Fackler, Ala. 35746.
