Mrs. Lucille Evans, 77 of Scottsboro passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Lands officiating. Burial followed at Sanders Mill Creek Cemetery.
Lucille is survived by her children, Sherri (Milton) Tate, Elaine (Will) Tate, Joey (Darlene) Evans, Andrea Atkins; grandchildren, Crystal Tate, Keith (Amber) Tate, Dustin (Angela) Evans, Cody Evans, Leigh Summerford, Tori Tate, Braylen Tate, Waylon Tate, Dawson Tate, Noah Haynes, Ami Evans, Bellah Evans, Jayse Evans, Hunter Summerford; great-great-grandchildren, Kamarii Hutchins, Kacyn Hutchins; brothers, Billy Sanders, Stanley Peacock, Doyle Peacock; a host of nieces, nephews, lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd C. Evans; daughter, Beverly Evans; son-in-law, Kelly Atkins; parents, Arthur Peacock, Eva Sanders; siblings, Harold Peacock, Paul Peacock, Jr., Kim Peacock, Dorothy Jez, Veda Peacock, Pauline Putman, Annie Robertson, Edith Hanks, Peggy Hess, Howard Sanders, Robert Sanders, Franklin Peacock.
