Mr. Russell Sampson, 80 of Scottsboro passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021. Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with burial following at Section Methodist Church Cemetery.
He was the owner of Sampson Electric and a former employee of Maples Industries.
Russell is survived by his wife, Judy Sampson; daughter, Nancye (Robbie) Delbridge; son, John (Shannon) Sampson; grandchildren, Krystle (Corey) O’Neil, Corey Hinshaw, Joseph (Tabitha) Pierce, Chase (Jennifer) Delbridge, Lauren Sampson, John Sampson, Sarah Sampson; 10 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Kathy Berry; sister-in-law, Ann Sampson; many nieces and nephews he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Brandi Acker; sister, Bettye Sampson; brother, Bob Sampson; parents, Thurman and Mildred Sampson; brother-in-law, Charles Berry.
