Karl “Kevin” Provens, 32 of Scottsboro, born on Friday, April 14, 1989 to Pamela Provens and Karl Moore, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Lewis W. Page Elementary School with Travis Stevens officiating. Interment followed in Kirbytown Cemetery.
Kevin’s inclination was to be a protector and provider. He was a devoted father to Kadence and Ella, and he was dedicated to being a great example to them. He always wanted to be present and support them in their activities and schooling. Kevin’s family was so important to him, and he always kept that infectious smile while around them.
He was loved by so many and well known in the community; it’s a testament to his uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. He could always be found with a smile. If Kevin brought you into the fold, he would just be a phone call away if you ever needed anything. He truly lived life to the fullest through many things: shooting and growing his gun collection; razor and motorcycle riding; sipping good bourbon; trying a new cigar. Above all, he loved to spend time with his friends and family.
Though Kevin’s days on this earth were not enough for us, God needed him to do His work for Him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
Kevin is survived by his daughters, Kadence Provens, Ella Provens; mother, Pamela Provens; sisters, Brittney Provens, Mikayla Moore; brothers, Chadwick Provens, Nicholas Chubb; stepsister, Taylor Hawkins; grandmothers, Bobbie Moore, Norma Miracle; grandfather, Clarence (Tammy Burkhart) Moliere; uncles, Christopher (April) Provens, Marcus (Mychal) Provens, Darrell Moore; special aunt, Alma Moore; cousin, Trey Horton.
