Mr. Oval “Bubba” Wilborn, born on Saturday, January 4, 1941, passed away on Sunday May 23, 2021. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Delane Bryant officiating. Burial followed at Langston Cemetery.
He was born in Langston and lived most of his life in Stevenson.
Mr. Wilborn is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Wilborn; daughter, Cindy (Beaver) Potterfield; granddaughter, Casey (Jerry) Zolla; sisters, Brenda (Larry) Chism, Linda Proctor; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oval and Mildred Wilborn; brothers, Bobby Wilborn, Steve Wilborn; brother-in-law, Tommy Proctor.
