Mrs. Faye Evans Lusk, 87 went to her heavenly home on Monday, April 26, 2021. Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Faith Covenant Church of God with Pastor Brett Hogland officiating. Interment followed at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Lusk was born on Saturday, August 12, 1933 in Jackson County where she lived her entire life. She was a woman of great faith and a charter member of Faith Covenant Church of God. She enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing, gardening and working at the church’s thrift store. For many years, she was a childcare provider for several families in the area, in which she was highly regarded and sought after. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, William Lusk, Jr., James (Nancy) Lusk, Thomas (Lisa) Lusk; daughters, Annette Butler, Rachel Lusk; sister, Mary Nell Tubbs; brother, James (Iris) Evans; sister-in-law, Evelyn Evans; grandchildren, Brittany Puckett, James (Shannon) Lusk, Kevin (Holly) Lusk, Andrew (Jill) Lusk; great-grandchildren, Susanna Puckett, Sawyer Puckett, Ava Lusk, Everly Lusk, Abigail Lusk, Henry Lusk, Lucy Lusk, Charlotte Lusk, Jada Rose and Jessalyn Rose, Mila Prince, Ander Prince, Landon Prince, A.J. Washburn, Sadie Washburn. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lusk, Sr.; parents, Victor and Annie Gamble Evans; brother, Homer Evans; granddaughter, Jennifer Butler; great-grandchildren, Destiny Rose, Jaden Rose.
