Mr. Pelmer Saint, 75 of Grant passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Grassy Mountain Holiness Church with Bro. Eddie Saint and Bro. Chris Clark officiating. Burial followed in Panquin Cemetery.
The son of Earl Thomas and Bertha Rose Smith Saint, Pelmer was born in Marshall County on Sunday, March 10, 1946. A former Marshall County Commissioner, Pelmer was also Materials Supervisor for Marshall County schools until he retired. He enjoyed gardening and sharing with others the fruits of his labors. He also restored antique cars and attended car shows up until his health began to decline. Mr. Saint was also a member of Grassy Mountain Holiness Church, and attending was very important to him.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Saint; daughter, Guinnett (Richard) Russell; son, Jason Saint; grandson, Peyton Russell; twin brother, Elmer (Sarah) Saint; sister, Joyce Allen; stepdaughter, Kelly (Stacey) Rucks; stepsons, Kevin Meeker, Christopher Meeker; step-grandchildren, Kolby Rucks, Ashley Rucks; special pet, Dixie; several nieces, nephews and many, many friends. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Judith Saint; brother, Donald Saint; sisters, Doris Brown, Janice Elliott.
