Ms. Katie Lynn Buckley, 37 of Scottsboro, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Graveside services were held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Katie was a Scottsboro High and Auburn University graduate. She was also a lifelong lover of animals. Katie worked as a paralegal at the Lackey Law Firm for many years and was a big Miranda Lambert fan.
She is survived by her parents, Lynn and Susie Buckley; sister Toni (Heath) Robertson; nephew, Jaxon Robertson; grandmothers, Gwen Buckley, Shirley Duncan; aunts and uncles, Jim (Amelia) Buckley, Jay (Donna) Buckley, Lori Buckley, Tony Duncan, Tim (Pam) Duncan; a host of cousins and friends; her dogs, Cody, Sammie, Gizmo. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Corky Buckley, Benoit Duncan.
