Mrs. Peggy Jo Brizendine, 69 of Bridgeport, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Rudder Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doyle Chamblee officiating. Burial followed in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church for several years.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert Brizendine; daughters, Stacey (Randall) Hubbard, Tracey (Wade) Payne; grandson, Cameron Hubbard; brothers, Donnie (Stacy) Abney, Michael (Sissy) Abney; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Lee Owens Abney; brother, Clyde Abney.
