Scottsboro announces new retail development featuring Publix

(Scottsboro, Al. March 3, 2021) – On Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., the City of Scottsboro and White Development Company held a joint announcement and media event addressing a new retail development in the City of Scottsboro.
“This project is a great example of a true community effort and partnership between the City of Scottsboro and White Development”, said Mayor Jim McCamy. “It is a highly anticipated project that will have a significant economic impact on the city.”
White Development Company is a retail development firm based in Clearwater, Florida. Jim White, founding partner of White Development added, “White Development Company is proud to partner with the City of Scottsboro on this nationally branded grocery anchored retail center.”
The development will be anchored by national grocery chain, Publix, and will be located at the intersection of Hwy 35 and Hwy 72, near Scott Cemetery.
