Mrs. Elna Jane Lamb Guffey, 82 of Grant passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at her home. Funeral services were held on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Grant Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ollie Taylor and Bro. Nicky Willmon officiating and eulogy delivered by Bro. Wayne Guffey. Burial followed in Gunter Mountain Memory Gardens.
Sister Jane was born on Thursday, October 13, 1938 in Madison County to William David and Mary Bell Scott Lamb. She loved and cared for many, many children during her years of operating a daycare. She was a beloved member of Welcome Home Holiness Church.
Sister Jane is survived by her husband of 62 years, James Earl Guffey; son, Greg (Diane) Guffey; daughter, Marilyn (Tim) Turner; grandsons, Matthew (Elizabeth) Turner, Blake Guffey; granddaughter, Meghan Turner; sister, Willine Duvall. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Ronnie Duvall; mother, Mary Bell Scott Lamb; father, William David Lamb; grandparents, Agrippa Scott, Fetney Jane Leach Scott; Ed Franklin Lamb and Minnie Hale Lamb.
