Mr. Freddie Ray Kay, 63 of Section passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at his residence. Funeral services were held on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ronald Patterson and Bro. David Patterson officiating. Interment followed in Macedonia Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Gail Nell Kay; son, Charles (Shauna) Kay; daughters, Christie (Keith) Hastings, Melinda (Jimmy) Smith; sister, Carol Fanning; grandchildren, Christa Hastings, Dakota Smith, Dallas Smith, Jacob Hastings, Dalton Smith, Cade Hambrick, Savannah Kay, Charlee Kay; great-grandchild, Harper Smith. He was preceded in death by his son, Jordan Kay; father, Charles U. Kay; mother, Jenny Kay; brothers, Elbert Kay, Bob D. Kay, Eddie Ray Kay.
