Mr. Ralph Edward Smith, 85 of Scottsboro passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021. Graveside services were held on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Rev. Matt Helms and Dr. Jody Gamble officiating.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist church. Mr. smith was a United States Air force veteran and served during the Korean conflict. He was an avid golfer and was a scratch player. He was a devoted husband, son, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Joyce Smith; daughters, Kelly (Billy) Owens, Melody (Rick) Burley; sister, Betty June Childress; brother, Garnet Smith; grandchildren, Blake (Penny) Owens, Lauren (Garrett) Kelly, Lindsey (Kiel) Krausen, Smith Ann Burley, Forest Burley; great-grandchildren, Liam Owens, Grace Owens, Ben Owens, Caroline Kelly, Davis Kelly, Cindy Krausen.
