ParaLee “Goodney” Lankford, 86 of Stevenson gained her wings on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Graveside services were held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Stevenson Community Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late Robert Allison and Hannah Allison and was a lifelong resident of Stevenson. She was a devoted member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Shaw Industries. Ms. ParaLee was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and neighbor. She had a selfless heart and always wanted to share what she had.
She is survived by her son, Ken (Debra) Lankford; grandsons, Courtney (Senia) Lankford, Kevin (Tasha) Lankford, Craig Sims, JaJuan Lankford; granddaughters, Latoya (Josh) Branford, Tonya Lankford, Jonjalyn Smith; honorary granddaughters, Danyele Smith, Amber Wells; step, Kayla Sharpton, Devin Richardson; 10 great-grandchildren; special sisters she never had, Cheryl Evans, Linda Robinson; a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and mother; daughter, JoAnn Lankford; son, Toney Lankford.
