Renee Lynn Posey, 66 of Flat Rock was enjoying a mid-evening nap in the warmth and comfort of her family home when she succumbed to complications from COVID on Saturday, January 2, 2021. Funeral services were held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Valley Funeral Home with burial following at Posey Family Cemetery.
Renee was born on Saturday, May 15, 1954. She was married to Mr. Ralph Posey in Trenton in the spring of 1974. They remained married until her passing these 46 years later. Renee was a devoted wife, dedicated mother and doting grandmother. She held a number of jobs throughout her life, making numerous friends along the way with her smile and engaging gift of gab.
Renee is survived and celebrated by her husband, Ralph Posey; sons, Franklin (Ashley) Posey, Shawn (Brooke) Posey; granddaughters, Pearl Owens, Harbor Posey; grandsons, Blake Owens, Michael Cole; lifelong close friend and sister-in-law, Joyce Hayes; a number of loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lacey Roberts; father, Mack Roberts; brothers, James Roberts, Ray Roberts, Leon Hayes.
