Kenneth W. Hilliard Sr. of Scottsboro went home to be with his Lord on November 12, 2020 after a long battle with multiple medical conditions. Funeral services were held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Mr. Hilliard served in the United States Navy Active Reserve from 1954 until 1962 and worked on the USS Tweedy. He was a charter member of Agape Baptist Church and a trustee of the church, taking care of many jobs within the church before he became ill.
He leaves behind his wife of nine years, Ruby Stanfield Hilliard; daughters, Donna (Kenny) Land, Lisa (Pete) Parvin; son, Kenneth W. (Kelly) Hilliard, Jr.; grandchildren, Brian (Wendy)Land, Mike (Katherine) Parvin, Chris (Jennifer) Hilliard, Matt (Kristin) Parvin, Juliana Hilliard; five great-grandchildren; brother, Jack (Pat) Hilliard; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Anderson Hilliard; parents, Henry Clayton Hilliard and Gladys Ophelia Ray Hilliard; sister, Carolyn Jean Hilliard Webster and her husband, Morris Webster.
