Mr. Verbon Dale Carver, born on Tuesday, March 10, 1942, passed away peacefully and went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. He was 78 years old and a member of Oak Grove Holiness Church. Private graveside services were held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Gunter Mountain Memory Gardens with Br. Alton Willmon officiating.
Dale enjoyed working for over 30 years for the Guntersville Electric Board. He loved fishing on Lake Guntersville, taking care of his lawn, and in his own words, piddling. In recent years he enjoyed working with his son’s real estate auctions.
Dale loved his family deeply and is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Loretta Reynolds Carver. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Joy (Perry) Stapler; son, Steve (Holly) Carver; grandchildren, Kyle (Katie) Stapler, Andy (Kendra) Stapler, Westley (Riley) Stapler, Cole (Abby) Carver, Mary Frances Carver, Beatrice Carver; great-grandchildren, Dax Stapler, Barrett Stapler, Lillie Stapler, Jack Stapler, Avery Stapler, Sawyer Stapler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmy; sister, Wilma.
